Kaz & Steph x

1/ Judith Rae Cuba Artwork from US $8

We love to travel and are always living vicariously through those who are traveling to exotic destinations when we are wedded to the daily grind. Judith Rae is one of those unique photographers with such a beautiful aesthetic and her work fits seamlessly into a well decorated home. I am still working on curating our walls in our new ( almost a year old ) Brooklyn home and have just ordered this beautiful Cuba image for our lounge room from Judith's travel collection. This one will sit pretty in a gold frame mounted on a clean white wall giving me my daily dose of blue.

2/ Armadillo & Co Nala Berber Knot Rug from US $1440

Kaz and I have been going back and forth for months working out the perfect replacement for her very well-worn Ikea lounge room rug. The finalist in this world wide search is the latest release from our friends at Armadillo & Co - Nala. This beauty is 100% hand made with a berber knot technique and perfect for family living. Made entirely from natural wool, this rug is easy to clean and the right choice to enhance Kaz's Sydney home.

3/Ton Dowel Lounge Chair US $POA

I was in Paris last weekend and stumbled upon an old favorite - Ton. This brand has a group of makers and everything they create is design gold ( insert praise hands emoji here ). I am slightly in love with this armchair and have put this on my wish list when we have a bigger home. Their range is exquisite and they have a great commercial dining chair range that is loved by many designers.

4/ Kate & Kate X Arent&Pyke festive Twist Linen Table Cloth  US $249

When a group of talented ladies butt heads in the best way  = collaborating on a collection that is lust worthy divine and destined for our home. Juliette Arent and Sarah-Jane Pyke from Arent & Pyke continually collaborate with artisans, architects, artists and suppliers creating unique beautiful product and this time they have teamed up with our friends at Kate & Kate. From printed linen cushions to table top, its hard to narrow down just one item for our Shop_philes this month. We have selected this beautiful table cloth with a subtle yet sophisticated pattern in monochrome.

5/ Nordic Print Pots from Terrain from US$14

Blue and white is always on trend with motifs ranging from vintage Chinese ginger jars to fresh re-invented Nordic prints. These patterns are inspired by Scandinavian tradition making these ceramic pots a great vessel for herbs, small plants or even some fresh cut flowers. I am also considering these beauties in a cluster for a bathroom with a candle, cotton pads and a fragrant plant as a set of three.
