It’s no secret Steph and I lose time daily as we trawl the delicious world of decor and interiors, forever bookmarking our musts and our lusts! Every month we want to share the best of our new finds along with some of the carry-over coveted pieces we hope to one day add to our own homes.
Happy (window) shopping!
Kaz & Steph x
1/ Totem Road Round Coffee Table from AU$1350
I go through coffee tables faster than toothpaste… moving apartments, evolving style and one generally itchy decor finger and voila – coffee table #4 now sits beneath my feet yet my eyes are wandering once again.
But could this be the handsome devil which finally ends my search?! Is this my forever coffee table? It might just be. Made from sustainably sourced Oak and locally produced, this round from Totem Road ticks all the boxes of style, function and form.
2/ IKEA Stockholm Rattan Table AU $185
Side table? Bed stool? This versatile little beauty from our not-so-secret Swedish boyfriend IKEA is an all purpose placeholder for knick knacks, decorative bits and pieces or just a perfect finishing touch for a room.
3/ Amber Interiors Vintage Batik Cushion $285ea
No matter your palette – everyone can benefit from a little slice of beautiful vintage batik at home. We love this textural neutral cushion from Amber Interiors Shoppe, the perfect compliment whether you’re an indigo babe or a neutral neat freak.
Clearly being white, this beautiful leather chair remains firmly on my Lust List for now… sticky toddler fingers and pristine shades are really not a combo that’s working for me for the foreseeable future. So when I one day have a household free of jam fingerprints, THIS will be my armchair of choice. For those of you with less mess – go forth and buy this beauty, drape it in a luxe sheepskin and read a book in perfect silence. I hate you.
5/ Leanne Thomas ‘Prayer as Breath’ from AU$750
I can hardly cope with Leanne Thomas’ deft use of light and texture in her beautiful floral series currently exhibiting at Double Bay’s Art2Muse gallery. Be sure to check out her body of works – all skilfully bringing to life each floral muse to ‘exude light, life and hope’. I sure hope I have this piece hanging in my apartment one day.
